What the hell is Custard Caravan?
Err… A band… entertainers… a caravan full of custard… ?? We’re not entirely sure but we are sure to be there.
We think it’s a bunk off Friday variety show with great bands (HCP) and refreshingly surprising material. The poster tells us it’s almost impossible to cram more fun into 2 hours.
Organised by the wonderful, bonkers, custard-covered Louise who says:
“Hastings Punk Choir; a throng of cool pulsating voices with acoustic guitar have to be heard to be believed.
“In between their fab sets there will be a couple of short surreal Shoddy Custard songs when the lollipop ladies of Custard Caravan go back to their Punk Incarnation ‘Shoddywoddy’.
“We’ve got a few new ones penned specially including the Ballad of the Over Zealous Lollipop Lady and Three steps To Hell.
“Wondering If there are any other rock’n’roll Lollipop Ladies out there? Do you know any? do spread the word. It’s all a bit niche.”
